Job Description
Inxigma, as specialist recruitment company in Insurance sector, is looking for one of their top Belgium client a Senior Risk Officer to strengthen its Non-Life Risk department team, which is responsible for the assessment and reporting of Non-Life risks.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and contribute to regular and ad-hoc reporting (Solvency II, IFRS, multi-year budget, stress tests, ORSA, etc.).
- Collaborate in the implementation of the IFRS 17 accounting standard - extension of the methodology, development of tools and workflows, analysis of figures.
- Support the development of internal risk models for the Non-Life branch - including testing, documentation and implementation of the models and assumptions.
- Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders: auditors, actuarial function, CRO and CFO, validation team, BNB, product development and many more.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in risk management.
- Masters degree in quantitative subject (such as mathematics, economics, finance, actuarial science or statistics).
- Fluent in Dutch or French and ideally good knowledge of the other one.
- Knowledge of non-life products and IFRS 17.
- Experience with SAS, ResQ, R, VBA or Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent analysis, communication and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in the non-life insurance business will be a strong advantage.
