Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources North America, the Organizational Development Manager is primarily responsible for developing learning and talent development strategies for the company. This includes successful development and delivery of internal training programs, creation of organizational development initiatives, change management, and driving effective standardization and alignment across the organization. Collaboration across the organization will be critical to proactively identify opportunities to leverage learning to improve business processes, increase skills, optimize performance, and leadership competencies across the business.
- Build strategy, development, design, and enterprise implementation for identified talent programs.
- Aligns leadership development, performance management, and other initiatives with identified short, mid- and long-term business strategies.
- Partners with Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, and other departments to identify organizational and employee development needs and works collaboratively to support a program of continuous organizational performance improvement. Such examples include
- leadership development, mentorship, engagement trainings, change management, etc.
- Facilitate and present at various internal training events.
- In partnership with the Culture & Engagement Specialist, identifies and addresses issues that impact the overall health of the organization, including morale, effectiveness, turnover, absenteeism, and productivity.
- Identify gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity among employees.
- Create individual and team development plans.
- Develop, optimize, and oversee orientation programs.
- Oversee the administration of Learning Management System (LMS), as well as licenses and use of curriculum design tools.
- Facilitate internal training sessions designed to improve team communications, manager transitions, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to ensure performance and developmental goals for employees are met.
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees.
- Practice effective project management skills in leading multiple training and development program initiatives.
- Develop and report on ROI metrics for training efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Advanced degree - Preferred
- 5 years progressive experience in HR, with a minimum of 3 years experience in Organizational Development.
- Ability to plan, manage time, and multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional curriculum design and facilitation skills
- Familiarity with modern and traditional training methods
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible, adapt to changing requirements/deadlines/situations, work non-standard hours.
