Job Description
A well-prepared interviewer questioning an interviewee. Collecting information from the past from observers & participants in that past. Must coordinate meetings, prepare equipment to film and audio record an interview. Transcribing information after the interview includes; Listening to live proceedings or audio and video recording to summarize and efficiently organize written versions of them to be archived.
Must be prepared to arrive promptly at work, maintain a professional appearance and have excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal).
Requirements
1 year Transcriber experience or similar work related field. Type 50 WPM. Multitasking- must be able to listen, understand and type simultaneously. Knowledge of Warm Springs Languages, Tribal traditions, values and techniques. Applicant will be required to submit and pass both a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check with Federal, Tribal and State Law Enforcement.
