Job Description
Are you a Software Developer with a knack for people management and team building then this role might be a great fit for you.
Our client is the leading provider of building product information, delivering high quality planning documents to architects, engineers, contractors, and other design industry professionals (AEC community) throughout North America.
What you bring to the team:
- 5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of scalable SaaS applications
- Experience managing production applications in cloud environment
- Experience across developing both front end and backend applications
- Experience in designing, architecting and developing new products as well as managing legacy infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team
- Hands on experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
What youll be doing:
- Working with your team to breakdown projects into deliverable tasks, defining the scope and managing timelines effectively
- Manage day-today operations of DevOps team consisting of 5 developers
- Working closely with leadership and product teams to understand the challenges and provide effective technical solutions
- Continuously monitor and enhance processes, applications and performance
- Drive a learning mindset through sharing best practices
- Providing coaching and mentorship to all the team members through continuous feedback, code reviews, pair programming
- Scaling the team by hiring the best in the market talent to meet the necessary team goals
- Overall active involvement in project planning, hands on coaching, team collaboration, code reviews
