Job Description
POSITION DETAILS
A major fish wholesaler in Elkridge, MDneeds several Processing Team Members to work in our Processing Room - Fish Scaling, Fish Cutting, Filleting Fish (i.e. processing), obtaining the highest industry standards in our cold processing room between 34 and 38 degrees. You must dress warmly. In general, the essential functions of the Processing Team Member will be to effectively and efficiently carry out all the tasks and duties of the Processing Room. This is a great opportunity for full time work. Benefits are available after probationary period.
Highlights of Responsibilities:

Assist Processing Team Members as needed to fulfill orders accurately
.
Heavy Work - must be able to lift 20 pounds often
.
Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions
.
Train other team members on processes
.
Ensure HACCP and BRC procedures are followed - training provided
.
Reports to the Processing Room Leads and/or Shift Manager
.
Maintain cleaning schedules for processing room along with appropriate documentation
.
Wrap shrimp in required packaging while meeting customer specifications, requirements, and deadlines
Job Qualifications:
.
Teamwork - Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all team members and perform as a team
.
Prior experience in the wholesale/preferred industry is preferred
.
Knowledge of seafood and proper temperature storage and handling regulations preferred
.
Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
.
Always displays judgment and tact
.
Must be able to write clearly
Must be:

18+ years old
.
Able to stand and walk
.
Have mobility to load boxes
.
Able to work 5-6 days a week
.
Able to work 8+ hours per day.
