We are looking for a Product Owner, responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by the team, on an e-commerce platform for one of the largest retailers, by revenue, in the world.
Tasks
- Execute the eCommerce technology strategy, address changing priorities across eCommerce business and support growth acceleration
- Partner with Business eCommerce teams and technology partners to define the eCommerce roadmap and deliver according with the plan
- Manage demand, assessments and quoting of eCommerce projects
- Manage ecommerce project(s) timeline, scope, communication, delivery, resource allocation and risk
- Prepare and facilitate scrum ceremonies, work closely with internal customers and external partners
- Create production schedules and manage overall project timeline, budget, 3rd party vendors and project delivery for eCommerce from conception to live-launch
- Manage statement of work, PO s, staffing plans, and to ensure alignment to projected budgets and resource plans
- Coordinate QA testing activities, validation of hotfixes and patches, created test plans, schedule activities and resource allocation, identified and evaluated risks for major releases
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of prior experience as a Product Owner
- Technical background as a Business Analyst/ Software Developer/ QA Engineer is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodologies (processes, principles, and good practices)
- Experience with e-commerce environment is an advantage
- Strong ability to understand product architecture and technical issues at a high level
- Ability to prioritize
- Communicate complex ideas effectively
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
- Fluency in English (both verbal & written) is a must
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is an advantage
