Job Description

The Tool Mechanic/Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing oilfield equipment and completing all paperwork in accordance with the current QA maintenance program and company policies.
Organizes and keeps equipment maintenance and inspections up to date.
Ensures work area and yard are clean and uncluttered.
Dismantles, adjusts and repairs equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
Loading and unloading of equipment, operating forklifts as needed.
Attends required training as deemed necessary by job duties, Training, Operations, Safety, Quality etc.
Learns and becomes conversant with all company philosophies, policies, and procedures including safety, quality, operational, and environmental training.
Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
One (1) plus years work experience in shop maintenance or as a mechanic preferred
Acceptable driving record; due to auto insurance requirements, must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in oil field equipment maintenance preferred.
Troubleshooting mechanical problem/diagnosis and ability to repair issue(s).
Experience with maintenance/repair of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps/motors preferred.
