Job Description
- Design, implement and maintain robust/reliable data systems which comprise of extractions, loading data from a wide variety of data sources, data transformations and system monitoring.
- Align with business/client requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Perform database migrations: assessments, planning and implementation.
- Catch up with the latest technology as well as learning established technologies in depth.
Requirements
- General knowledge and experience using multiple operating systems such as Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, Red Hat Linux.
- SQL and other database specific query languages.
- Programming language such as Python or Java.
- Great skill of using search engines, translating questions/issues into specific keywords.
- General knowledge of software development best practices.
- Experience of web service/REST API development. Candidate will find no difficulties for extracting API based dataset and can give better solutions.
- Experience using containerized software.
