Possibility of Extension.
Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electro-mechanical systems, or specialized test equipment. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work. May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work. To include other responsibilities such as: setting up lab infrastructure, lab networking, lab systems, SW tools, test automation support, HW test equipment, running HW validation tests and debugging system level issues. While working with cutting edge HPC (high performance computing) technologies, you will be part of a team enabling the bring-up and development of advanced systems and designs. This Lab Technician is part of a cross-functional technical team working with Sr. Validation and Design engineers, other lab personnel and the Facilities team. Preferred 2+ years of exp
