Senior Program Manager

Role: Senior Program Manager

The roles are primarily remote with required on-site visits 2-4x for a 6 12-month engagement.

Length of Engagement: Six-month engagement w/ potential extension/renewal to 1-year dependent on performance.

Our growing company is looking to augment our project management team for the Unified Platform project with a senior program manager. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities for program / senior program manager

Coordinates all Unified Platform efforts.

Coaches teams and mentor others in planning, organizing and coordinating their work

Implements metrics to drive continuous improvements

Demonstrates deep expertise on the VL / Commercial customer segment

Creates design options for functional areas that enable scenarios and clear requirements and ensures that scenarios are effectively explained and enabled across stakeholder, partner, and customer messaging strategies

Validates time estimates of others on the team and participates in design, code, and test planning and reviews across functional areas, understands the root causes of issues, and finds ways to resolve them

Identifies multi-product/service dependency issues and scheduling priorities, and establishes milestone exit criteria

Valuates data sources and research methods for use across the team and for individual projects and programs owned

Demonstrates an understanding of the product or service lifecycle software delivery methodologies and lifecycles

Work with cross system team owners to improve data quality and data relevance

Understand the various dependencies and relationships across the Volume Licensing ecosystem

Qualifications for program / senior program manager

Demonstrated project management oversight skills and experience

Experience in managing and implementing change, particularly quality improvement, process improvement, or pay for performance

Able to communicate effectively with all employees

Service driven with a strong customer orientation

5 years of relevant software product design experience

Experience with sensors and cameras a plus
