The selected individual will join the Fund Administration Group which is responsible for the accounting, reporting and treasury operations of the a private equity funds managed by the Firm.
The group issues two reports to investors each quarter: financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP for each partnership and a Valuation and Performance Report (VPR) that includes: components of our quarterly valuations; financial monitoring metrics for the portfolio investments and a written commentary on recent events / progress on the value creation plan.
The group also plays an integral role in the Firm s fund raising efforts, collaborating with our Limited Partner Services and Legal / Compliance teams, and works closely with other constituencies across Finance and the firm. This position reports to the Fund Manager and is responsible for the accounting and treasury operations for a subset of private equity funds.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform daily reconciliation of fund cash activity and maintain books and records accordingly
- Assist in quarterly close process, prepare draft financial statements and footnotes and create supporting work papers
- Assist with capital calls and distributions, including allocation of such transactions
- Prepare wire transfers to fund investment activity and distribute proceeds to investors
- Answer information requests from investors, refers investors to other appropriate resources as necessary
- Complete ad-hoc requests for information from management

Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in public accounting or as a Fund Staff Accountant, preferably in private equity
- Experience working with Investran a plus
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask and keep multiple parties up to date on progress
- Strong skills in working with Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to create clear and concise documentation and/or work papers to be relied upon by external auditors
