Communication Systems and Software Engineer
BWI Group is a premier chassis supplier that designs and manufactures brake and suspension systems for the global transportation market. BWI Group is looking for Communication Systems and Software Engineer to work on premium Electronic Brake Products.
Must-have Competencies :
Design and develop CAN communication algorithms for controlled brake software products
Systems Background work on Vehicle Communication
Experience in developing Requirement Specifications
Conduct automated testing of IVC/Diagnostics Services on released software packages
Good to have Competencies :
Software developer for CAN communication
Solid hands-on experience in configuring AUTOSAR CAN Communication Stack , CAN Signal Flow
Investigate signal issues on development vehicles and capture CAN data
Root cause and determine spec/software change necessary to solve signal issue
Implement software change and compile software to test CAN solution in vehicle
Perform issue investigation testing to resolve reported CAN software or system anomalies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Experience range 5-12 years
Knowledge of C and assembly language programming for embedded systems
Knowledge of hardware schematic principles and hardware design techniques
Analytical skills
Ability to demonstrate technical problem-solving skills/attention to detail
Ability to work with team members of other disciplines or departments
Good oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in embedded control system design and test activity
Familiarity with data acquisition instrumentation concepts especially CAN related
Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts including microprocessor interface
Knowledge of debugging, testing and verification techniques
Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (GMLAN, CAN, 14229, KW2000)
Knowledge of vector tool suite DSpace, National Instruments
Knowledge and experience with programming or development in Matlab/Simulink environment
General interest in vehicle product area and/or embedded systems
System simulation and modeling experience
