As a Business Development Manager, you play an important role in the company's success, report directly to the VP of Business Development and work closely with our founders.
Tasks
- Responsible for inbound leads and outbound prospecting activities (incl. CRM, email, LinkedIn, webinars, and events)
- Talk to potential customers and qualify opportunities to ensure they will contribute to our strong sales pipeline
- Develop new partnership channels, for example with leading cloud service providers and systems integrators
- Collaborate with our Marketing team to optimize the message, content strategy, value proposition and channels
- For the high-flyers: Support our leadership team in fundraising activities
Requirements
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English, ideally also in German)
- Highly motivated and strong "can-do" attitude, not afraid to pick up the phone and call a prospect
- Min. 1 year experience in a dynamic environment - this can be in management consulting, investment banking, a VC-backed startup, or in a tech company in a similar role
- B.Sc., M.Sc. or MBA from a leading business school, top 10%
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and desire to thrive in a dynamic and growing environment
- Strong interest in technology (ideally cybersecurity and cloud) and in developing a technology sales career
