Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager

Position Summary:

The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will oversee and drive Beacon MedTech Solution s EHS functions. Collaborate and lead the creation, development, and sustainability of a world class environmental health and safety program, practices, processes, and training. The successful candidate will be able to balance the tactical hands on work needed with building the strategy and development of program.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Manage, develop, implement, and train on various EH&S processes and policies for both new and existing employees.
• Develop and utilize tools and processes to identify risk, track issues, and monitor/improve EH&S performance.
• Provide leadership and direction to safety committee ensuring effectiveness and support.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local statues and regulations.
• Collaborate and drive near miss and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation measures.
• Collaborate to establish and implement correct actions and make recommendations for areas needing improvement, track corrective actions to completion.
• Develop and provide KPI s to leadership, presenting key issues, wins, and metrics.
• Identifies and works to implement process improvements and efficiencies between Quality and EHS audit processes.
• Conduct formal risk assessments for new and existing manufacturing.
• Inspire a culture where employees at all levels take ownership for safety.
• Cultivate strong partnerships to improve outcomes through collaboration resulting in enhanced solutions.
• All other related duties and responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Detailed oriented.

Must be proficient in Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor s Degree in engineering, science management or safety sciences.

Minimum of 5 years experience in related industry

Knowledge of EHS regulations & ISO certifications preferred.

Certifications in EHS (e.g. CSP, PE, CIH)
