Job Description
Trilogic Recruitment are proud to announce were working closely with a worldwide logistics organisation with over 30,000 employees to date.
Our client is currently looking for an ambitious and thorough Continuous Improvement Engineer Based in Swindon on a permanent basis.
Work closely with the UK Operations Manager to implement lean processes ensuring that the efficiency and quality of operational process is continually improved.
You Will:
- Contribute to the 5s initiative to ensure that improvements are sustained and entrenched within the business.
- Host Kaizen improvement events.
- Ensure the operational layout , both at macro and micro levels, is suitable for a highly efficient and defect free environment.
- Improve levels of engagement with associates so that their ideas can be harvested and implemented to improve the overall efficiency of the operation.
Requirements
- Has previously worked in a similar role in the automotive industry for3 years
- Operational background
Skills:
- QMS
- Kaizen/5S
- Competent in MS Office.
- High level of mathematical skills with the ability and competence in data interrogation
- Employee Engagement
- Analytical and planning skills
- SOP/Work instructions
- DMAIC
