Job Description
For a large corporation in the Rotterdam we are looking for a freelance Windows Sever Security Engineer.
As a windows server/security engineer you will be responsible for migrating Windows servers and updating (digital) working stations to current security standards. You will be responsible for the implementation of security frameworks on server, client and application level. Within this corporation, a large amount of servers need to be upgraded towards Windows 19/22. All (digital) workstations need to be upgraded to Windows 10.
What You Will Do
- Create security frameworks on a server, client and application level.
- Implement this framework onto the organisation
- ImplementMicrosoft Security on a server level
- ImplementCritical Security Controls (CIS) framework for Clients
- Oversee and communicate consequences for business application
Requirements
What You Need To Succeed
- Keen awareness and interest in (recent) Windows server technology
- Experience with Windows 10, VMWare and VDI
- Good database knowledge (MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with high level security design
- Experience with practical implementations of this security design
- Creative and independent thinking
- Fluent written and spoken English/preferablly also Dutch
- This role is onsite based in Rotterdam
