Fashion Product Developer (100%)

This is a full-time position based at the "INA KESS Space" office in Wollerau, starting in February 2023 or upon agreement.

INA KESS is a luxury Swiss lifestyle brand for women with an international, digital, and warm-hearted team that is dynamic, always on the move. The brand's vision is to make women's life better by offering the most beautiful and comfortable clothing, designed and developed in the company's atelier in Switzerland and produced in Europe, with the finest, most luxurious technical fabrics and materials. INA KESS is sold online and through selected retailers in Switzerland, Europe and the US.

Tasks

• You will be a vital part of our design and production team in Wollerau SZ and make our clothes a dream for each customer.
• Conduct profound research about qualities, finishings, materials, and trims based on the initial design
• Maintain a close collaboration with our international suppliers and work on a profound and long-term relationship
• Develop with a lot of passion, limitless ideas and a long breath unique ways to create exceptionally innovative styles and features
• Lead the seasonal product setup from research, set up in the system, new development briefings for our internal sample room through to final sign-off for production
• Drawing of flat sketches, setting up a bill of material, creating techpacks and all preparation and documentation, in collaboration with the whole team, for the factories to launch the product
• Development and testing of all fabrics, colours, metal works, knits, and more
• Create fabric and trim files and keep them updated at any time, in constant collaboration with our suppliers
• Negotiation with our suppliers, constantly striving to find win-win situations
• Attend the weekly fit meeting and communicate to manufacturers via Whatsapp, video calls or on site in Portugal any changes that occur in terms of design
• Sign off all development-specific invoices
• Assist the production team with a profound handover for production
• Create a handover with all details for the marketing and sales team

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, being in direct contact with all manufacturers and suppliers
• Profound skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• An unstoppable urge to find the best qualities, technologies, and innovative ways of making our products unique
• You love luxury qualities and traditional tailoring, and you are a perfectionist
• Where there's a will, there's a way is your saying. You always go the extra mile and have a long breath to achieve perfection
• Working in the textile industry is your passion
• You work and think very detail oriented, with strong time management and organisational skills
• You are fluent or native English (Italian or Portuguese language skills are an advantage)
• You are a high-energy, sportive personality with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to a complex area of the business
• You qualify as a cooperative and creative problem solver who acts solution-oriented
