Network Telephony Consultant

Duration: 12+ month

Location:Irvine, CA or San Antonio, TX: capable of coming into the offices 3x per week starting in January 2023 (may start remote or hyrbid initially)

Role Summary: Under general supervision, directly contribute to the implementation and operation of Network-Telephony technology solutions. Applies communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to execute changes, minimize outages and maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with enterprise unified communications networks supporting multiple clusters, Sip Trunks, BVoIP Services, Expressways
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience on Cisco infrastructure required
• Oracle 3900 Acme SBC experience

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

• Under general supervision, directly contribute to the implementation and operation of Network-Telephony technology solutions Primary project will be lifecycle efforts with Cisco Voice Infrastructure/Oracle Acme hardware but may extend to other related work.
  • Participates in project planning calls to receive guidance and direction on upcoming tasks.
  • Adheres to rigorous release and change management processes.
    • Executes change controls to deploy, update and/or maintain Network-Telephony infrastructure including but not limited to the below technologies:
      • Cisco ESXi/ CIMC upgrades
      • Cisco CUCM/CIMP/Expressway upgrades/ migrations
      • Certificate Renewals
      • Cisco Phone replacement
      • Cisco Moves/Adds/Changes
      • Kurmi Provisioning
      • Oracle 3900 Acme upgrades
      • Oracle Acme Routing
  • Maintains/updates procedures and documentation related to project work assigned.
• May be asked to participate in other related Network-Telephony activities
