Required Qualifications:
- IT project management experience including developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for projects.
- Solid understanding of PMO, SDLC and governance best practices.
- Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners.
Must be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments. - Proficient with productivity tools: MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Power BI.
Excellent oral and written skills with demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of management. Self-motivated, quick and assertive personality with strong time management skills. - Experience and comfort working with teams located across many locations. Demonstrated knowledge/experience implementing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
JD Primary Responsibilities: - Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and delivers multiple concurrent complex projects and/or programs prioritized in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs. Projects may include multiple technology disciplines and/or significant business process re-engineering efforts.
- Manages programs/projects involving department or cross-functional teams from initiation through delivery.
Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Organizes project and/or program activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. - Directs the activities of project support staff, project managers, and sub-contractors and is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of the project.
- Monitors work of technical personnel, such as systems analysts and programmers, providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives.
Manages and coordinates priorities between projects or within a program that requires critical thinking and complex problem solving. - Leads and communicates project scope, goals and responsibilities to project team; establish clear stakeholder expectations, and requirements of varying degrees of complexity.
- Develops and maintains reporting procedures and monitor performance in project and program control activities.
Develops and distributes reports related to project activities, general project management, and financial issues. |
