Should have hands on technical experience in High Volume production or assembly
Travel or Dispatch? Primarily working for West Virginia but might need to go at Georgetown, KY and other powertrain sites if required
Can work remote or need onsite? Purely onsite role, can consider relocation candidates but they will not pay that expenses or per diem
Phase of project? New project, Powertrain engine transmission project
Tools or skills? AutoCAD and MS Excel are Mandatory
Job Description:
Machining & Assembly line lead / support
Responsible to lead / support the following technical activities:
Planning process for new machines, budget, detail schedules for machining and/or assembly, detailed machine investigation specifications for equipment, procuring, trial validation and installation of equipment in a mass production atmosphere.
Work requires focused shutdowns (July and December) and can contain overtime and weekend work as needed.
Requirements:
2-5 years automotive process engineering (machining and assembly) experience
B.S. in Engineering / Technology preferred (related Associates degree and/or related experience acceptable) Strong AUTOCAD & excel capability
Works well in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing work environment
