Position: SAP Basis Administrator
Duration: 8 months with Extension Possible
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Scope of Work
Required consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:
- At least two years of SAP CRM BASIS experience or SAP BW experience or
- SAP Portals experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with BSP and Netweaver
- Experience performance tuning SAP programs
- Experience performing SAP software installations
- Experience performing SAP system copies
- Experience migrating to new SAP releases
- Experience with performance monitoring in an SAP environment
- Knowledge of SAP installations and upgrades
- Knowledge in SAP application patching
- At least 5 years of SAP Basis Administration support
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with the Florida Department of Revenue's CAMS project or Florida
- Department of Revenue's Suntax project
- Experience with Rev-Trac software
- Experience with Opconxps job scheduling software
- Experience with the Florida Department of Revenue's CAMS project or Florida
- Department of Revenue's Suntax project.
Required Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:
- The duties and obligations require providing development operations and maintenance support for FDOR's CAMS Phase I system, which is an SAP CRM/BW Portal.
- The detailed work involves troubleshooting problems with development, quality assurance, and production systems, improving performance of existing processes, supporting OSS note implementation and upgrades from SAP, ad-hoc requests for data, general support of ensuring the application's data integrity, batch job performance, quality performance and enforcing efficient methods of coding by the programming staff.
- The CRM support requires applying OSS notes from SAP for CRM, table creation and maintenance.
- The Portal support requires applying OSS notes, applying support packs, and migrating to new releases
- In BW, support via applying OSS notes, analyzing process chains for efficiency, applying support packs and migrating to new releases.
- Will require providing support in a team environment and working successfully with other Basis Administrators. May involve acting as technical advisor on new software technologies and best practices in the IT industry.
- Will require interaction, both oral and written, with business analysts, business process owners, technical consultants, peers among other teams such as Development, Security and Workforce Transition.
- Will require maintaining documentation of hours worked, adherence to all standards for documentation of coding changes, communication of status of work assignments.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other technology related field or, equivalent work experience of one (1) year system's experience for each year of education required or, one (1) year of data management experience for each year of education.
