We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic team leader for our team of three. Your challenge will be to lead the team professionally and disciplinary and to be the contact person for internal and external stakeholders. With your work performance you will implement our current projects together with your team and be part of the change!

Tasks

• Leading a small team of developers, you will shape the products and tools at every stage, from draft to production
• You will need to take decisions on how we synchronize our system into external ones like SAP
• You may design and implement high performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape
• Use your passion for clean designs and quality code to continuously improve our platform. We love simple, readable and efficient code!
• You will do code review and coach more junior team members as well as document the software architectures. We believe in knowledge sharing!

Requirements

• At heart: You are an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Java Developer with excellent communication skills
• You love: Defining IT requirements and discussing them with stakeholders, taking smart software design choices, making things work and getting stuff done
• Technologies you are experienced in: Java, Software architecture, Monitoring tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Hibernate, Spring, Kafka
• Preferred database is: MySQL
• You are not afraid of: Linux, legacy code, communication with Non-Developers
• Mindset: Forward thinking, team player and agile
• You master: German, English
