Electric Engineer or Electronic Engineer

Skills:

Experience using Siemens controls

Experience in manufacturing controls equipment hardware and software design practices

and standards

Experience using PC hardware and Microsoft Windows in a networked plant floor

environment

Experience in a project lead role

Must be able to travel, including international (~10%)

Must be able to articulate technical information in written and oral communication

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Must be able to oversee activities of tradesmen and/or contractors.

Must be able to provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance and other

functional groups on request

Controls Engineer tasks that include

- reviewing production equipment builds at OEM's to confirm the equipment is being built to the standards

- support the debug and commissioning of new production equipment

- engineer and implement controls hardware & software changes to existing equipment

- Assist with defining production equipment standards
