JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Description: Sr Business Intelligence Developer providing curated data to support a business group to be able to make data driven decisions. Solutions will be developed in SAS. Candidates must possess the technical capabilities to extract, retrieve and analyze data on their own utilizing SAS software.
They must have Base SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide (sometimes referred to as Eguide or E guide)
Base SAS and Equide experience is required.
Experience in DI Studio is a plus.
Experience in other BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus.
Experience in other SQL based etl development tools such as SSIS and Informatica is a plus.
Candidates should be able to dive in and research new and complex data sources to understand how the data is moving in the system and how the data is stored in order to identify any anomalies that may exist.
Proven experience in using SAS and strong interpersonal communication skills is required.
*****Able to perform the following in SAS:
Base SAS (Data Step and Proc) programming Macro language programming PROC SQL (direct and passthrough) usage Reading and interpreting SAS logs Debugging existing processes Familiarity with 9.X metadata environmentEmployment Type
