Job Description
Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Sparks, NV (ONSITE)
Contract Duration: 2 months
Work Hours:TBD by hiring manger
Duties: Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of Instrumentation, supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Initiates case carts for Surgical Services. Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital. Able to accept new ideas and learn position duties. Participates in the department's performance improvement activities.
Skills: Minimum of three (3) years experience as Central Service Technician. Certified from CBSPD or ISAHCSMM with at least one of the following certs: CRCST, CSPDT, CSIS or CIS.
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
