Additional Details: Looking for an experienced field support technician to continue our support for our business partners and persons in
our care. This individual will be assisting with fixing and installing new desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and other PC devices for our
business partners and persons in our care.
The Department of Corrections (DOC) requires Desktop Support staff to maintain a working knowledge of our internal computer system. The technician will be in charge of repairing and maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops and other PC devices. They will also be installing new PC's and laptops to replace end of life cycle equipment. The technician will be doing those tasks while maintaining inventory and properly disposing of out dated equipment by recycling those items per DOC policies. The technician will also maintain and close work orders in the DOC ticketing system. The technician receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure and methodology are being followed. Desktop Support 4 - IS Technical Services Cons/Admin
