UI Designer III

Summary:

We are looking for someone who will Collaborate with PMs and Engineers to define, execute the best solutions to UX problems that maximize end user, developer, and business value & impact.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed wireframes, mockups, prototypes & specs following a user-centered process to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop/apply general visual styles and interaction patterns consistent with YouTube standards.
• Work with research teams to validate concepts, and execute iterations on learnings

Skills/ Responsibilities/ Education:

• 6+ years of work experience in a related field (should include interaction design)
• BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Figma (Figma libraries)
• Strong UX/UI strategic thinking and partnership experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to partner with development teams in the creation of production ready assets
• Ability to work within an established design system and brand identity
• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of production and design
• Strong organization, ability to prioritize projects and manage time.
• Communication skills: proficiency in verbal and written communication
• Interpersonal skills: capability to work in a team environment, meeting and collaborating with a variety of disciplines.
• Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
