- Supporting and troubleshooting Commvault backup, recovery and archiving in a large, complex and widely distributed environment.
- Communicate Technical action plan, drive internal Technical Teams / Customer / Partner communications.
- Skilled in utilizing methodologies for problem management and resolution of escalated issues.
- Create opportunities to increase the competence of the work group in a proactive and consistent way. Identifies and communicates possible process changes that will remedy inefficiencies as appropriate.
- Drive virtual technical teams within internal team / Partner in order to isolate the cause of Commvault technical issue
- Work with the Commvault support Vendor, customer account team, Partner onshore and offshore teams, as well as other stakeholders like Managed Services Manager, Consultants, Customer Business Manager, Escalation manager etc.
- Plan and implement best practices for backup solutions.
- Create and update documentation for Commvault backup procedures, solutions, licensing and applicable project artifacts.
- Job specific responsibilities include maintaining complex Commvault Backup Solutions which may involve Virtual libraries, Disk to Disk Backup systems, physical Tape Libraries, OS, Backup Software, Switch, SAN or Library components.
