ECO Coordinator Florence
Description:
As Engineering Change Order (ECO) Coordinator drives operation efficiencies to support on the ECO from ECO in work state all the way to ECO implemented state. Support Supply Chain Change Leader (SCCL) including but not limited to material rework, interface with suppliers on status of new material and rework parts, update trackers as needed and attend meetings designated by the SCCLs. Support phase in phase out (PIPO) plan as necessary to ensure timely execution of ECOs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Understands prioritization of ECOs and supports ECO implementation/PIPO associated with any new changes based on engineering rationale, inventory levels and supplier readiness, by working with SCCLs and sourcing Collaborates with SSCL & ECR Coordinator on the creation of the PIPO plan. Collaborates with ECR Coordinator and Design Engineer on the disposition of the ECR. Works with SSCLs and Buyers to ensure clear communication is provided to suppliers as early as possible in the engineering change. Ensures order conversion has been completed as soon as ECO is in ERP release. Assist task and activities of the PIPO Process through cross-functional engagement (Supplier, Sourcing, Quality, Engineering) Works with Manufacturing Engineers to provide all necessary document numbers for WSI, MRII, packing list, and other documents that require modification. Works with SQE team to review SCN creation, SCN overdue acknowledgements, and needed PQPs. Assist with rework activities Support ECO implementation tasks through proficiency of all change related processes, in order to drive initiatives and achieve change team goals and metrics. Track ECOs greater than 6 months and ensure justification of prolonged backlog. Tracks number of ECOs for manufacturing plant, time spent in each phase of ECO implementation and rolls up associated metrics for measurement/improvement. Contribute to continuous improvement of the Engineering Change Process and use of current skillset to keep defining the role to make it more efficient. Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Engineering or Business or 2 years of experience in materials of supply chain.
- 2 years of experience working in cross-functional relationships, strong influential and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Inventory module of Oracle..
- Demonstrated organizational, functional, and leadership expertise to lead teams on a project, sub-system or business initiative.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with the GE Healthcare quality management system.
- Global / multi-site project experience.
