Production Manager

Growing Manufacturing firm in Cleveland has a need for a Production Manager. This is a full time position with a full benefits package.

• Generate ideas, plans to enhance the performance of the manufacturing processes including process, rate, yields and quality improvement through lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts. Stimulate operations personnel to think outside the boundaries.
• Responsible for personnel employee development through growth, performance feedback, communication, involvement, skills enhancement, delegating responsibility, decision-making and coaching.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through product consistency and prompt follow up to customer issues and feedback.
• Support plant-wide initiatives through involvement in activities such as the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles, capital project development and execution, labor relations as well as Strategic Planning development and implementation that supports the plant and business objectives.
• Develop de-bottlenecking plans to improve product quality/volume increase to attract new products to the plant.
• Participate and represent the plant on appropriate plant business teams and the S&OP process.
• Support implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 and RC14001 management systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2 - 5 years operations and/or engineering experience in a manufacturing plant
• 2 - 5 Yrs. supervisory experience.
• Good customer skills, good communication skills both verbally and written, strong technical aptitude, multi-task oriented.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Computer literate: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
