Job Summary
Horizon has instituted a Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive process optimization and continuous improvement activities. The end goal is to enhance employee satisfaction via automated and improved processes.
The CoE will leverage various tools to automate and improve processes, including process mapping tools (including PowerPoint, Visio), Robotic Process Automation tools (e.g. UiPath, PowerAutomate), and data wrangling tools (e.g. Knime, Alteryx).
Summarized CoE steps:
1. Evangelize to internal clients the benefits of automated end-to-end processes; identify opportunities
2. Validate opportunities, the feasibility of delivering a solution given the teams specific context (e.g. client constraints), and identify the improvement arrowhead (e.g. automation),
3. Map the As-Is process focus on process and data handovers, using swim lanes etc.
4. Design the To-Be process improve the process upstream, do data wrangling, use Robotic Process Automation (RPA) etc.
5. Obtain stakeholder approval for the To-Be process
6. Work with the available resources to create the To-Be solution, e.g. a RPA bot
7. Ensure that the solution is in line with the design
8. Implement solution / Support go-live
9. Obtain signoff from internal client
10. Receive and triage solution maintenance and enhancement requests
The Process Analyst Manager (PA-M) will be accountable for all CoE steps above, except for 1 and 6 (only when the solution involves development). The PA-M is expected to be a hands-on self-starter with the expertise required, and will lead a motivated team of Process Analysts as this team grows. The PA-M will work with multiple teams across Horizon, and is expected to independently interact with leaders of all teams to deliver an outstanding internal client experience.
