Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITIES: Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

THE LOCATION: Ashland, Grants Pass or Medford, Oregon

Ready for a change? We have excellent, full time opportunities available for experienced family nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our Primary Care team in Medford, Oregon. The Nurse Practitioner operates as an established medical authority in a collaborative care team environment with physicians, and the Physician Assistant works under the supervision of the APP Executive Medical Director and designated Family Medicine Physician.

You'll be preparing and recording patient's history, performing physical examinations and formulating treatment plans for patients. You will be participating in the management of patients' care by facilitating, expediting and coordinating routine diagnostic procedures, writing orders for appropriate medical care and determining needs for consultation. In addition, you will be triaging and returning patient calls in conjunction with the physicians. An excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits package will be offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

-At least 3 years of post graduate NP or PA experience in a primary care or urgent care setting required

-Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

-Ability to obtain Nurse Practitioner (NP) license by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) required

All applicants must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
