We are looking for permanent staff to work in a newly opening classy retaurant & bar at Limassol's newly built landmark, The Icon
Your main responsibilities:
1) To be aware of the daily reservations and special occasions.
2) To smoothly carry out the assigned tasks and duties, by actively participating in the and be vigilantly attentive to service details, food & beverage quality standards.
3) To offer a warm welcome and assist with the seating of guest.
4) To sense and anticipate guest needs and quickly respond to maximum satisfaction.
5) To confidently take orders and communicate them effectively to the preparation areas.
6) To confidently recommend drink and wine selection to match menu items and guest preferences and serve these according to the standards, applying upselling skills.
7) To be responsible for the smooth service of all tables on the assigned station, table maintenance, take beverage and food orders, ensure guest satisfaction, check if required dining ware is set on the table, inquire with guest for refilling/refreshing beverages.
8) To use POS device to place orders correctly and promptly, maintain the charges on all tables of your station, ensure bills are handled courteously and correctly.
9) To deliver and serve drinks in a courteous manner.
10) To keep your station well organized, clean and neat.
11) To have a thorough knowledge of products, brands, wine labels served in the outlets, special ‘items to sell’ and confidently communicate them to the guests and train the subordinates.

Requirements
1) Holder of EU passport, citizen of the EU
2) Graduate of a secondary school, preferably of hospitality specialized in table service. Graduate of a tertiary school of Hotel Management or Hotel and Catering School is an advantage
3) Three years or seasons of experience in similar work environment, preferably with Mediterranean background
4) Must speak and read English fluently. Greek, Russian and other languages are considered an advantage
5) Familiar with Micros POS

4) Pleasant and friendly personality, approachable, fair and polite

What we offer:
Our company will offer a relocation assistance, that consists of airport transfer by one of our senior staff members and arranged accommodation.
We’ll be renting a complete block of apartments or studios, which will be sublet to the employees for a monthly fee of €500 plus utilities (water, electricity, waste) paid directly by the employee (average monthly cost of these around €70). The €500 will be deducted directly from the monthly salaries.
We do understand these are high cost rentals, however some of the cheapest options currently available in Limassol, we manage to get such ‘low’ price due to the organized rent.
In exchange we guarantee brand-new, high quality stays, which are fully furnished and equipped with all appliances in the kitchen and living room, including latest technology water pressure and heating system, central heating, AC units, etc., clearly speaking; above the average domestically available quality. The block is also located in a central area of the city with direct access to real public transportation.

What we offer:
- 12 month/permanent contract
- 13th salary in full in December
- Spring bonus at Orthodox Easter in the first year 10% of the monthly gross salary, after 3 years of employment 20%, after 5 years 50%
- 5.5 working days per week
- 9.5 hours per day, including 1 hour break
- 21 days annual leave (any untaken days off will contribute to the annual balance, including public holidays), increasing to 24 after 3 years of employment and to 26 after 5 years
- Employee development incentive – on and offsite training arrangements with external consultants and academies paid in full by the company
- Staff discount at the venue off hours
