Job Description

For one of our clients in Basel, we are looking for several
months a:

Tasks

  • Provide administrative duties for the Service Desk team, which provides support to the business and is the primary point of contact for IT-related requests and issues.
  • Tracking resolution of priority incidents and service requests.
  • Provide IT Service management statistics and reports.
  • Coordinate technical and hierarchical escalation to other technical teams.
  • Organize resource availability and shift planning.
  • Prepare communications and presentations.
  • Write the documentation.
  • Be responsible for stock management (inventories and orders).

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and understanding of IT. Hardware. Several years of technical experience are necessary to ensure real support for the team.

  • An excellent communicator with all levels of the business, demonstrating high levels of customer service.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to be able to manage multiple work streams throughout the day.

  • Strong team player with a proactive and problem-solving approach.

  • Willing to be involved in continuous improvement and project activities.

  • Excellent English communication skills.
