Technical/Functional Skills
- Image building
- Driver management
- Task Sequences
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
- WinPE
- General networking knowledge, DNS/DHCP
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
Experience Required
- Windows and hardware support
- Scripting experience, any language (VBscript and PowerShell preferred)
- Windows deployment and/or upgrade experience
- Windows Image build and configuration
Roles & Responsibilities
- Update and maintain driver packages in Windows 10, Windows 11, and LTSC OS Versions
- Update and maintain BIOS versions on supported hardware models
- Update Windows images quarterly with latest Microsoft patches
- Manage annual transition to new hardware models
- Design, configure and test new OS versions, Windows 11, Windows .next etc
- Review and deploy Windows security compliance policies
- 3rd level support for SCCM imaging issues
- 3rd level support for Windows OS issues, work tickets through Microsoft
- 3rd level support for hardware driver issues, work tickets through hardware vendor
- 3rd level Windows/Azure Autopilot support
Generic Managerial Skills
OS and Hardware Documentation
Working with Dell for hardware transitions
Communication with clients and customers
Self-motivated, independent, comfortable working with high performance team
