The Enterprise Endpoint Administrator is responsible for setting up, documenting processes, creating, deploying, and applying maintenance in Azure Intune. While maintaining the lifecycle and device management systems for all end-user hardware across the Department of Aviation. In addition, train and create a hand-off document for DOA-designated employees. with the assistance designated employee, the EEA will act as an escalated technical resource for technical support to identify technical requirements for endpoints device usage across DOA.
What You Will Do
- Configure & maintain Endpoint Management Systems (Microsoft Azure Intune)
- Create & maintain imaging systems for Windows & MacOS workstations and laptops.
- Create, deploy, and update application packages for endpoints.
- Manage self-service application deployment packages through Intune Company Portal.
- Create and maintain compliance profiles for endpoints to enforce baseline security standards.
- Monitor for and remediate non-compliant devices.
- Partner with other team members to create and maintain policy and script deployments on endpoints via Microsoft Intune.
- Partner with the Information Security team to identify and deploy system and application updates | and patches to address security vulnerabilities.
- Partner with Desktop Support to create and maintain imaging baselines for endpoint devices based on geo-location or facility requirements.
- Partner with Desktop Support Manager to create and maintain an endpoint lifecycle management program.
- Assist Desktop Support in troubleshooting imaging and application deployment issues when needed.
- Provide standardized reporting on device compliance, application deployment, endpoint patch management, and software inventory to members of the Information Technology management team.
- Assist in transitioning endpoint devices at all facilities to Microsoft Intune
- Work with technical and operational staff members to identify key software and hardware components at facilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years supporting Microsoft Windows 10 endpoints in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ Years supporting MacOS endpoints in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with centralized endpoint management systems such as Microsoft Intune.
- Familiarity with endpoint imaging systems (MDT, Microsoft Autopilot, Apple Configurator)
- Familiarity with endpoint lifecycle management.
- Prior experience managing third-party vendors & hosted solutions.
