General Description - Purpose of Role:

As a lead analyst on the Global Financial Planning and Analytics Product team you will be responsible for the expansion of new capabilities leveraging multiple technologies including SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, & SAP BW using development languages like Google Cloud Platform to meet end user needs.

The Lead Applications Analyst will play an integral part in formulating and delivering transformational solutions/capabilities, supporting backlog of enhancements while working directly with various business partners, Digital&Technology/IT leadership and external service providers to deliver value to our Finance function.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Leadership 20%
Participate in roadmap discussions to design transformational (people, process, technology) solutions and provide high level requirements
Apply knowledge of financial and operational planning and reporting to collaborate with finance business stakeholders in providing solution recommendations, and planning business needs and priorities

Participate in solution architect strategy for data, integration, sustainability, etc.
Stakeholder Management 20%
Work closely with finance and IT stakeholders on a wide range of topics that require SAP BPC Embedded financial expertise, including business requirements analysis, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, business process optimization, integration topics, cross-functional projects, end-user training, translating requirements into technical solutions, and providing cost-benefit analysis and estimates
Partner with key finance stakeholders on monthly and annual forecasting processes
Operational Leadership 60%
Drive delivery and support of planning and analysis solutions and enhancements in the areas of Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain Finance leveraging multiple systems and capabilities, including SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, AMDP Framework & AFO Reporting (Analysis for Office)
Lead business requirement sessions to accomplish team goals and serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements through build and deployment
Play a technical lead role on large deliverables including converting business requirements into technical work and providing work direction to various technical team members, and actively participating in all build activities
Prepare technical specifications, proactively facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption of new and existing solutions
Participate on a rotating support schedule
Lead Technical RFP & Prototyping
Ensure solution design is compliant with non-functional requirements (Security, Platform, Integration, Data, Operations, etc.)
Other Responsibilities as Requested:
Contribute to data gathering for internal and external audits
Prepare training material
Mentor team members on technical acumen
Qualifications:
8+ years financial experience in a CPG/manufacturing environment, with experience in corporate financial reporting and analyzing data
Proficiency in one or more of the solutions following: SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, AFO Reporting, AMDP Framework
Demonstrated ability to partner with technical data architects and developers to build solutions and enhancements
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), with ability to clearly articulate pros and cons of approaches, document use cases, specifications, solutions, and recommendations
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and be independently productive
Ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and ensure execution of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
A strong sense of accountability, ownership and pride in work performed with an eye towards continuous improvement
Comfortable with using meeting and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams
Preferred Skills, Competencies, And Experiences:
Bachelors degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems), MIS (Management Information Systems), Business Administration, or Operations is preferred or equivalent work experience considered
Experience working in an Agile methodology environment
Tableau end-user experience (nice to have)
Hands-on experience with SAP FI, COPA, Supply Chain Finance, SAP BW
