The role of the Property Care Advisor is to act as an agent for tenants, owners, and vendors while working to resolve all maintenance concerns large and small in a timely and dependable way.
In this office-based role, the Property Care Advisor may troubleshoot minor maintenance issues with the tenant over the phone or make arrangements, including scheduling, for the appropriate vendor to make necessary repairs as efficiently as possible while meeting quality standards.
In short, the Property Care Advisor is dedicated to ensuring an exemplary and trouble-free tenant experience while upholding the best interests of both owners and vendors.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a basic knowledge of routine home maintenance to assist tenants in resolving minor maintenance issues before contacting a professional helping hand.
The ideal candidate should be capable of remaining calm and objective when assisting tenants who may be experiencing urgent maintenance issues and should be diverse enough to communicate these issues effectively to all involved parties including tenants, owners, and vendors.
Other duties of The Property Care Advisor include:
Monitoring progress on work orders from assignment to completion
Originating new work orders utilizing knowledge of property maintenance history
Dispatching vendor work orders, updating as needed
Communicating daily with tenants, maintenance staff, and owners regarding open work orders
Scheduling maintenance and updating tenants regularly on progress
Providing detailed information to owners on required repairs, securing approval when necessary
Completing essential paperwork in a timely manner and according to deadlines
Preparing detailed and accurate invoices for accounting
Troubleshooting minor maintenance issues with tenants via telephone
Collaborating with the warranty team and property managers to determine the best solutions
Providing daily updates on work orders through data entry and reporting

Requirements:
High School diploma
Reliable transportation
2+ years experience with Microsoft Office
2+ years of customer experience
Key Attributes:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
PropertyWare experience is a huge plus!

$6,000 Bonus Potential (if hired as perm employee)
Paid weekend and afterhours required on a rotation schedule for on-call emergencies to dispatch vendors
