Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to be responsible for overseeing and directing all plant programs related to accounting, budgeting, treasury, credit control, and risk management.

You must be willing to:
Prepare monthly/quarterly forecast treasury reports & weekly/monthly actuals
Monitor daily cash/bank indebtedness
Prepare monthly Financial Reporting Package
Manage the month-end closing process
Perform foreign currency trades
Prepare/file Sales/Use tax returns/Corporation Tax Returns
Work with CFO formulating the annual budget
Supervise Accountants/Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS Accounting and/or Business Administration (MBA or MS in Business preferred)
8+ years experience accounting/financial management of chemical plant/related manufacturing operation
Solid understanding of Standard Cost/Manufacturing Variance vs Actual Cost/etc.
Clear understanding of GAAP/ IFRS rules surrounding inventory valuation methods (FIFO/LIFO), Lower of Cost or Market etc.
Strong spreadsheet computer skills/advanced Excel
