Head of Product (Compliance & Risk Management Department)

We are Semrush, a global IT company developing our own product a platform for digital marketers.

Tasks in the role

• Build and manage multiple development teams responsible for implementing technical solutions for compliance problems.
• Work collaboratively with Security and Legal teams to identify and manage privacy, data protection risks, and compliance requirements to help meet stakeholder expectations.
• Prioritize improvements and conduct compliance projects to reduce risk and improve regulatory compliance without sacrificing customer experience and business metrics.
• Actively participate in shaping our platform security and regulatory compliance strategy.

Who we are looking for

Seasoned leader capable of proactively managing simultaneous software development projects:

• Three or more years of experience building, developing, and managing teams.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of audit standards and practices, as well as control frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of end-user computing tools, hardware, application software, network, communications, and mobile technologies.
• High level of knowledge of product analytics (and experience in applying it).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• English proficiency to at least an intermediate level.
• Agile and/or project management experience, including ability to operate as a scrum master and manage daily stand-up cadences.
• Experience working in a highly distributed technology environment.
• Experience managing engineering partnerships with a variety of upstream data sources/systems.

A bit about the team

Will be focused on proactive managing risks and implementation projects and services which are necessary to be compliant with current regulations and prevent risks. It is expected that this department will work closely with Security and Legal teams as stakeholders.
