1.Assessing the usability, environmental impact and safety of a design
2.Using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to create prototypes.
3.collecting and analysing data from tests on prototypes.
4.modifying designs and retesting them.
5.writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients.
6.Research and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and graphics.
7.Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.
8.Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.
14.Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
