Our client company is seeking a mechanical engineer and an electrical engineer to be responsible for the design, revision, modification, layout, and requisition of plant machinery and equipment to insure a steady and continuous production flow.
You must be willing to:
Implement changes/additions, improve safety/efficiency/reliability of machinery/equipment
Evaluate suggestions/estimate cost/supervise installation of new equipment
Use CMMS to prepare work request/work orders/purchase parts/equipment
Assist in trouble shooting/analysis of any problems in the plant
Actively participate in efforts to reduce maintenance costs/all operating costs
Act as mentor in working with co-op engineers/associate engineers
Maintain an awareness of the latest developments within the industry
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY):
BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3 - 10 years of relevant work experience (co-op experience counts)
Project Management experience preferred
Understands Lean Manufacturing principles
