Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Tasks

  • Customer point of contact for all questions with support for guidelines concerning price lists, quotation, part number validation etc.
  • Order (entry and change) primary function with implementation of delivery for product and pricing fully validated. EDI order process supported as well as web based transactions.
  • Coordinates all customer complaints including requests for RMA to replace as warranted.
  • Handle RFQ process timely with full supporting documents for review by business and make complete approved offers. Follow-up on all opportunities and routine reporting with closure. Initiate phone contact routines with customer base; develop relations with ability to gather Engineering contacts for the FAE.
  • New material requests coordinated for set-up and implementation for ordering and quoting including material master and customer material information records.
  • Weekly backlog review of customer business with emphasis on supervision of purchase orders until delivered including all needed special arrangements.
  • Follow-up FAE activities- customer visits/samples. Support FAE administratively and search for new customers to visit. (100% frequency)
  • Communicates critical customer information/requirements to business units. (100% frequency)
  • Optional customer visits/public exhibitions if agreed to by all parties.
  • Daily report customer activities and solicit business and contacts.
  • Creating and maintaining customer accounts and contact lists.
  • Learn customer based tools of interface & support as agreed.
  • Coordinate customer request for credits or other disputes.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent plus participation in continuing education/specialized training for the job are required.
  • German and English language (spoken and written)
  • MS Office products-basic office intermediate level experience is required.
  • Communicates critical customer information/requirements to business units.
  • Knowledge in modern communication, SAP R3 if available
  • MS Office products-basic office intermediate level.
  • Ability to work on deadlines, multi-task, prioritize effectively, communicate strategic information effectively and contribute to maintaining control and growth of the business.
