Job Description

The Campaign Planning Manager will coordinate the capacity and work/tasks with different boundary partners including Creative, Execution, Targeting, Analytics, CommsTech, Technology, and Test & Learn to ensure that all work is completed on time across the 1,000+ 1:1 communication deployed each year. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-visibility and impactful work that will enhance the customer experience across the 550M+ communications we send annuallynbsp; Each campaign and tactic (direct mail, email, SMS, MyAccount, App, etc requires project plan creation, resource assignments, and coordination with vendors and other boundary partners. This role will also have budget management accountabilities, including the opex for incremental vendor builds and direct mail spend, and any capex spend for Technology delivery. The Campaign Planner then manages the delivery across each teams respective implementation processes. This role is accountable for successful 1:1 communication execution that will result in speed to market, improved quality, and more efficient investment of our resourcesnbsp; Responsibilities Partners with Comms Strategy Owners to understand delivery expectations and desired timing/SLAs required to implement 1000+ new or enhanced 1:1 communication per year Maintains visibility to delivery capacity and works with comm stakeholders and leadership to prioritize work based on business value and implementation complexity Budget responsibility for any incremental opex or capex needs required to complete the work and aligns with leadership to secure the necessary approvals Facilitates kick off calls to gather details and align boundary partners to set expectations if desired SLA/timeline is achievable Coordinates with Creative, Execution, Targeting, Analytics, CommsTech, Technology, and Test & Learn teams as required to identify timelines, interdependencies, and critical path for communication implementations Owns the delivery process and the associated SLAs across all teams and ensures active updating of SLAs on a quarterly basis to ensure they are aligned to the pace of the business Manages the overall delivery process includes resource assignments, tasks, timelines, and delivery due dates the foundation for all delivery teams. Ensures execution requirements deliverables are completed and successfully transitioned to the relevant teams, including the creative briefs and business requirements Provides delivery status with relevant implementation teams and comm stakeholders to ensure everything is on track (inclusive of Strategy, Creative, Execution, CommsTech, Technology, Analytics, Test & Learn, and Agencies Connecting the right partners together when there is an escalation, or a material change in project delivery timeframes. This role will serve as the knowledge hub to determine which groups to bring together to organize and produce a solution Requirements Minimum BA/BS degree and 6 years of related experience, OR MS degree and 4 years of related experience, OR Ph.D. and 1 year of related experience OR High school diploma/GED and 10 years of related experience Extensive knowledge of best practices and experience with operations processes, Agile delivery methodology, and collaborative work management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, etc Relationship building and collaboration skills to effective work with teams and leaders throughout organization Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to adapt to different audiences Excellent presentation skills, with an aptitude for managing expectations between stakeholder groups Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to situations, be flexible, resourceful, and nimble in terms of work planning, and the ability to think quickly on your feet Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency Ability to foster and work in an inclusive environment Preferred Bachelors degree in Marketing, Information Technology Management, Operations Research, related discipline Experience in the telecommunications industry About Cox CommunicationsCox Communications is the largest private telecom company in America, serving six million homes and businesses.
