Job Describtion :

Developer with Around 7 to 9 years of IT experience with SQL Server database development, extensively worked in OLTP, OLAP, Client-Server & Enterprise Data Warehouse Environments.

Strong experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools including Integration Services and Reporting Services.

Skilled at developing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors, Joins and indexes with T-SQL.

Well versed in Normalization/De-normalization techniques for optimum performance in relational and dimensional database environments.

Expert in Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) using various tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Log Shipping, DTS, Bulk Insert and BCP.

Developed, monitored and deployed SSIS packages.

Extensive knowledge of various data sources like Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Flat files and excel files.

Experience in developing Custom Reports and different types of Tabular Reports, Matrix Reports, Ad hoc reports and distributed reports in multiple formats using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS).

Good knowledge and exposure to Database Mirroring, Replication, Log shipping, backup and restore procedures, disaster recovery and performance tuning.

Experience in creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and scheduled SSIS Packages.

Solid experience in version control tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Sub version (SVN).

Experience in dimensional modeling using Star schema (identification of facts, measures and dimensions) and Snowflake schema for designing a Data Warehouse using tools like Erwin and E-R Studio.

Expertise in writing DML and DDL Code, Dynamic SQL as well as Query optimization& performance tuning.

Expert in using Complex Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions (UDFs), Common Table Expressions (CTEs), SharePoint 2010 development and Performance Point Services (PPS).
