Backend Developer (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for writing the code of highly reliable Java applications, implementing unit tests and delivering your software through CI/CD
• You participate in the code review process by submitting your own code and reviewing the code of other developers
• You work closely with the product manager and other project stakeholders to understand the business requirements and propose technical solutions for them
• You work in an agile team and provide reasonable estimates of the time required to complete the engineering tasks and deliver according to the estimates
• You report progress, problems and blockers and participate in regular team meetings, including DSM, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives

Your Skills

• You have extensive working experience as a backend software engineer
• You have advanced knowledge of Java 8 - 17, Spring (Core, Boot, MVC, Security, Cloud, Data), SQL (indexes, effective queries, transactions), as well as understanding micro service architectures
• You have knowledge of integration with third party applications and REST API development
• You have a strong problem solving skills, understanding of application security, performance and analytics
• You have excellent English skills, both in written and spoken
