IOT Director Connected Products Sales

Business Unit : IOT and Digital Engineering - Connected Plants

Role : Solutions Director

Required Skill Set : Sales & Marketing Experience in Professional Services, Manufacturing / Plant Services & Solutions, IOT

Preferred Specializations or Prior Experience: Marketing & Sales / Business Development

Job Description:

  • Lead the Connected Plants Business Development for Industries such as -CPG, HiTech, Auto, IMC, Chemical, Aero, Pharma & Medical Devices, Energy and Recourses, Steel etc.
  • Engage with the CXO leadership in key accounts to build long term relationships to sight opportunities ahead of their formal bidding, shape the opportunities
  • Analyze the customer requirement (Proactive pitch, RFI, RFP) to arrive at the best fit / innovative solution to meet customer needs
  • Provide oversight to large / strategic transformative engagements with our clients, participate in steering committees, address issues and challenges in delivery, execution, support
  • Engage with different sales and pre-sales teams of TCS to architect and articulate comprehensive solutions for addressing the client needs
  • Co-ordinate with external partners (where necessary) to define product leverage for client needs / fit
  • Support development of sales & pre-sales pitch & value proposition and win high quality proposals with top notch brand messaging in I 4.0 / Connected Plants
  • Position the Unit and its Services in the Market in engagements with Analysts, Business Partners, Product Vendors, Events, Seminars etc.
  • Leverage connects in the industry for identifying other potential candidates for the Connected Plants team for participating in client engagements, especially at program manager and consultant level
  • Connects with local boutique partners and firms for niche solutions
  • Put in place the delivery engagement for executing the client needs
