Job Description

5. Role Title: Accessibility Tester

Hiring Mode: TP/FTE

Location: MTV, CA/ Kirkland, WA/ New Jersey/ Austin, TX [Day 1 on-site]

Total number of positions: 1

Client: Google Inc. (Search Assistant)

Bill Rate:

[Contract]- $55/hr - $60/hr all inclusive C2C or

[Full Time]- $45/hr - $50/hr on HCL W2 +benefits or $90k-$105k/annum (base+bonus)+benefits

Skills required:

Accessibility (WCAG / 508) testing skill / experience

Mobile A11Y

Web A11Y

Job Description:

WCAG standards knowledge

Screen reader expertise with JAWS/NVDA

Experience with accessibility testing on both web and mobile platforms

Willingness to work in shifts as per project roster

o 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

o 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

o 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Be able to describe accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving them to non subject matter expert engineers. (Bug reporting)

Some debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes and a11y concepts to non a11y subject matter experts using minimal step reproduction cases.

Detail oriented

Self-motivated

Able to self manage, adhere to deadlines

Excellent analytical skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with front end technologies

Nice to have:

Test automation
