Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Developer Graphics Architect is required to work with the AIS Innovation R&D Team to meet the visualization needs of the Department of Aviation.

Determine Divisional Data Visualization Needs with Data Stewards

Use row-level security in the reports, and dashboard visualizations as needed

Communicate Plan of Action in Data Assessments, Visualizations, and Proof of Concepts

Create and execute comprehensive unit and integration test plans.

Partner with AIS resources as needed to meet deadline and project goals

Provide daily updates on work accomplished.

Continuously learn and apply new skills by staying abreast of Power BI features and functions and demonstrating by developing proof of concept products

Ensure key products are visible and easily accessible by enhancing and maintaining the Enterprise Dashboard Portal and related dashboard product documentation

Job Duties consist of the following but are not limited to:

Utilize PowerBI or other designated visual business intelligence tool(s)

3 years or more experience in data analytics role

Must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with internal/external stakeholders.

Understanding of Data Process at DOA, ETL for Warehousing, and Data Catalog

Able to create a "story" using data in support of Divisional Needs, Reporting

Able to research and recommend visualization best practices and templates.
