Occupational Health and Safety Lead
will ensure that work is executed within the scope of OHS requirements with focus on well-being and safety. Provide comprehensive Health & Safety support and guidance for the relevant organization, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with OHS requirements, including legal, and ISO 45001. To ensure OHS governance takes place across multiple disciplines of work.
Job Description:
Secures that OHS strategy is implemented and communicated timely to relevant stakeholders
Continuously improve on OHS compliance and OHS Management System
Contributes to OHS communication plan and supports the execution
Develop plans for OHS area development connected to business needs
Maintain, write, and circulate OHS reports and compliance related documentations
Conduct onsite and remote site OHS inspections to ensure with OHS requirements
Lead and ensure engagement in health or safety training programs
Provide new-employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations
Plan and implement preventive activities related to occupational safety
Drive risk analyse and ensure related action plans and execution
Coordinate cooperation with health service partners
In this role, it is important you have:
Safety and Health related education or minimum 3 years of OHS experience
Experience with ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001
Great communication skills, with experience of providing clear, pragmatic, and concise advice that is proportionate and risk based
Excellent leadership and relationship building skills
You have ability to switch between holistic view of the business and the detailed view of the processes
An entrepreneur-like mindset, constantly driving for efficiency and positive change, but more importantly, you are able to deliver outstanding results
